Arriving at the Dallas Arboretum This Season
It definitely feels like fall as soon as you step through the gates, with thousands of pumpkins everywhere. One of the first gardens you will see as soon as you make your way through the piles of pumpkins in the entry plaza is our newest addition, A Tasteful Place. This herb & vegetable garden features views of downtown Dallas as well as free, daily tastings prepared with vegetables and ingredients from our own gardens.
If you don’t make it the first stop on your visit, be sure to head by when you’re feeling peckish. If you plan ahead, you can even take one of our cooking classes or see a cooking demo (tastings included – info on cooking classes here) Keep your phone handy as you cross the bridge along the Margaret and Jay Simmons Lagoon – the views are definitely Instagram-worthy.
