Autumn at the Arboretum Named Dallas’ Best Pumpkin Patch
The Arboretum is gorgeous every season of the year, but there’s just something special about fall. That’s when the grounds are home to 65,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash; 150,000 blooming fall flowers; and a neighborhood of fantastical storybook houses. During our annual Autumn at the Arboretum celebration, you can experience our many seasonal wonders, including the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village, live concerts and much more, through November 26.
Bring your little ones to our beloved Pumpkin Village, named Dallas’ Best Pumpkin Patch by DFW Child, where you can walk through storybook houses depicting popular fairytales, get lost in a maze made up of 1,350 bales of hay, see Cinderella’s Carriage and tour the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch, complete with 30 kinds of pumpkins. The display, which takes three weeks to build out, also includes 15 types of squash and 8 gourd varieties.
Did you know that you can purchase a pumpkin for carving in the Tom Thumb Pumpkin Patch? Pumpkins are on sale in the Hoffman Family Gift Store, as well as in the Pumpkin Patch in Pecan Grove (and can be purchased at the kiosk across the Paseo).
