Delight in the Dallas Arboretum 2018 Food and Wine Festival
The 2018 Dallas Arboretum Food and Wine Festival features the best chefs in the Metroplex on March 22, so get your forks and your palettes prepared for a world of deliciousness. In our second year, we’re back with more chefs, improved logistics, elaborate VIP benefits, and a chance to experience the garden during the height of the internationally acclaimed Dallas Blooms tulip festival.
And we’re so excited to have the superb Chef Janice Provost to chair the festival, along with the peerless Chef Sharon Van Meter, returning for a second year in the capacity as festival co-chair.
2018 Food and Wine Fest Kicking up the Flavor
We’ve kicked up the flavor this year by increasing the number of chefs to more than 40, plus 20 wineries. We took a hard look at the guest experience and how to accommodate these numbers to create a relaxing environment for guests. We’re eager for guests to experience the improved amenities, new locations, and overall appetizing atmosphere of the evening on March 22.
The regions of cuisine this year are Pan Asian, South America, American Bistro and Mediterranean, a culinary experience elegantly mirroring the international theme of Dallas Blooms this year, “A World of Flowers.” Desserts will be available throughout the evening, so you can treat yourself to something sweet whenever you like. We’ll be releasing the chef and wine lists for each region very soon, so stay tuned to social media for a chance to meet the chefs and see some of these highlights.
The VIP Experience Is Bigger
IP guests this year have the benefit of valet parking and a private entrance, which opens at 6:00 pm, a full hour ahead of general ticket holders. They also enjoy exclusive access to our brand new vegetable and herb garden, A Tasteful Place, where they can take in a breathtaking view of the downtown Dallas skyline as they sip exclusive cocktails and chat with some of the chefs. VIP tickets also feature access to a VIP-only lounge area in the festival itself for guests to sit down and enjoy their tastings.
With how much fun we had throwing this event last year, we can’t wait to share this experience with all of you.
