Say Hello to Dallas Blooms 2015!
Spring is getting closer, folks, and that means thousands of blooms will soon awaken after a frosty slumber. The Dallas Arboretum celebrates this season every year with more than 500,000 spring-blooming bulbs on brilliant display at Dallas Blooms: Deep in the Hearts of Texans, February 28 through April 12. The Arboretum also has lots of fun activities and discounts to mark the opening of the Southwest’s biggest flower show.
Opening day offers an array of activities, including live Texas music and the re-openings of the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden and The Lay Family Garden. There will also be a volunteer information breakfast, which is a great opportunity to learn more about how you can get involved and become an Arboretum volunteer.
Make sure you take advantage of the discounts offered during this time: $8 parking is available online; There’s a 20% discount available on select Texas-themed items, including Texas candy, hats, coasters, glasses, pillows, toys and more at the Hoffman Family Gift Store, from February 27 until March 1.
