Join us for the first-ever Garden Gigs!
Local tunes combine with local eats at the first-ever Garden Gigs at the Dallas Arboretum, this Friday, July 24. This full-grounds musical event features local artists performing intimate sets throughout the gardens. Buy tickets now for an amazing night of fun!
Starting at 7:30PM, guests can enjoy the Arboretum’s beautiful grounds while listening to the dulcet sounds of these four local musical acts:
- Salim Nourallah, a North Texas music scene fixture, best known for his Beatle-esque sound and his timeless approach
- Duo John Lefler and Camille Cortinas, two talents with a decade of touring and two albums between them
- Kaela Sinclair, a Denton native whose album Sun & Mirror garndered rave reviews and significant radio play
- Sudie, a 23-year-old singer, songwriter and musician who describes her sound as “something jazzy meets kind of crazy … if Bjork had arranged something for Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday to sing over”
And when you find that perfect spot to set your blanket, you’ll have the option to feast on the contents of your picnic basket or enjoy the many culinary delights from these four food trucks:
BellaTrino, serving wood-fired pizza prepared Neapolitan style in a 1,000-degree, 5,000-pound oven, turning out pies in 70 seconds
Cajun Tailgators, offering fresh and authentic creole favorites
Easy Slider, grilling creative sliders featuring locally sourced ingredients
Ruthie’s Rolling Café, serving up gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches inspired by Grandma’s recipe
Buy tickets online now and save $3. Tickets are $7 online and $10 at the door. Parking is free, and gates open at 6:30 p.m.
